\nJane Monheit is an American jazz and pop singer known for her rich voice and emotive style. Emerging in the early 2000s, she gained recognition for her smooth vocal delivery and ability to blend genres. Monheit\u2019s career includes multiple albums and a strong following in the jazz world.<\/p>\n

\nEleanor Underhill might be closely associated with the banjo, but her artistry transcends Americana (or any other genre, for that matter). She\u2019s a superb and engaging musician and composer, and a really cool individual as well. Not counting the wonderful evening I spent in conversation with her at Asheville Guitar Bar, I\u2019ve interviewed her twice: here<\/a> and here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
